Beatty Shelter - 2500 E 5th St, Greenville, Parking for 20+

Greensprings Park is 25.5 acres and includes the Beatty Picnic Shelter (2 - 12 foot tables, seats approximately 30, and charcoal grill), exercise trail, and 1.5 mile Green Mill Run Greenway. You can also access the South Tar River Greenway from this location.

This 92 acre park houses our Athletic Offices, as well as many youth and adult programs. Some examples include youth basketball, baseball, sports day camps and adult programs such as softball, wiffle ball, and flag football. The park serves as the host facility for area high schools' cross country meets.

Boyd Lee Park amenities include: H. Boyd Lee Park Picnic Shelter ( __ picnic tables and seats approximately ____, Port a Jon), cricket field, multi-purpose fields, cross country course, exercise station, playground, walking/running trail, 3 softball fields, gymnasium with locker rooms, meeting room and restrooms.

Hillsdale Park - 2531 Sunset Avenue

Hillsdale Park is 1.72 acres and includes Hillsdale Park Picnic Shelter (1 - 12 foot table, seats approximately 15, and charcoal grill), and no public restrooms.

Elm Street Park is 8.4 acres and includes a playground, Sara Vaughn Field of Dreams (handicapped accessible baseball field), 6 lighted tennis courts, 1 lighted youth baseball field, 4 picnic shelters with grills, lawn games area, gymnasium, community center, and the Green Mill Run Greenway.

Jaycee Park is 11.5 acres and includes administrative offices, Center for Arts and Crafts (includes auditorium), playground, lighted softball field, Extreme Park (BMX, skateboard & inline hockey rink), and Jaycee Park Picnic Shelter (4 - 12 foot tables, seats approximately 60, and charcoal grill), water fountain and public restrooms (restrooms are only available when the facility is open).

Peppermint Park is one acre and includes the Peppermint Park Picnic Shelter (4 - 12 foot tables, seats approximately 60, and 2 charcoal grills), water fountain, hard court, playground and Port A Jon.

A 324 acre nature park offering a vareity of activities including pedal boating, picnicing, hiking, fishing, and a nature center. School, scout, church and other groups are encouraged to visit.

Park amentities (some require fees and advance reservations) include: 3 primitive campsites, group camping area, 2 accessible fishing piers, a large picnic shelter (__ - ___ foot tables, seats approximately 150, and charcoal grill), a small picnic shelter (___ - ___ foot tables, seats approximately 25, and charcoal grill), 40 individual picnic tables, 8 pedal boats (closed during the Fall and Winter), 5 rental fishing boats, 5 fishing ponds, a fossil pit, 3 hiking trails, and a sand volleyball court.

Greenfield Terrace is 25 acres and includes a picnic shelter (4 - 12 foot tables, seats approximately 60, and 2 charcoal grills), basketball court, baseball field, playground, 1/3 mile walking trail, Neos Playstation, and restrooms (keys required).

Greenfield Terrace is also the home of the Barnes Ebron Taft Community Center (BET) which includes a kitchenette, 25 tables, 150 chairs, and the capacity is 150 people).

Thomas Foreman Park is 9 acres and includes the Jackie Robinson Baseball Field, lighted tennis courts, gymnasium, recreation center, multi-purpose room, small picnic shelter (2 - 12 foot tables, seasts approximately 30, 2 charcoal grills), large picnic shelter (4 - 12 foot tables, seats approximately 60, 1 charcoal grill), playground, water fountain, and 1 Port a Jon (April - Sept).
