One of the best ways to explore the water is by kayak. Come learn the basics of kayaking on the lake at Wildwood! Parent participation (and pre-registration/payment) is required for students 6 and under. Dress to get a little wet. Tandems can be reserved for a parent & student or two students. Maximum number of participants per session is 10 (including parents on tandems).

Geocaching
Explore the park as part of a global scavenger hunt known as Geocaching. We’ll use GPS units to find actual Geocaches hidden around the park! We will work in groups due to a limited number of GPS units.

Fire Building
We will practice one of the most important skills in survival situations- fire building.

Outdoor Cooking
Spending a lot of time outside requires us to cook outdoors. Come learn some of our favorite outdoor cooking preparations.

Reading Animal Sign
Learning to read animal sign can be important for your ability to find food in a survival situation. We’ll look around the park to see what we can learn about what animals live in it.

Winter Tree ID
When trees have leaves in the spring, summer, and fall, they are easier to identify in winter. How can you even tell them apart in winter? Let’s find out!

Enjoy a moonlit hayride around our 31-acre pond, with a chance to construct s’mores around a campfire. Trailer seating is limited, pre-registration is highly recommended.
